In view of the strict requirements of camera module on the speed,power consumption and volume of storage devices,GT25D20/10/05E series NOR Flash chips represented by Yingshang provide a reliable solution.This series includes 2Mb,1Mb and 512Kb capacity models.The storage array is divided into 1024 pages with 256 bytes each,which supports a single programming operation with a maximum of 256 bytes.NOR Flash chip works in a wide voltage range of 1.65 V–3.6V,with standby current as low as 1μA and turn-off current as low as 0.1μA.The package is small and light,which is very suitable for camera modules with limited space.
This series of NOR Flash supports standard SPI,dual-output SPI and dual I/O SPI interfaces.The communication signals include serial clock(CLK),chip select(CS#),data input and output(IO0/DI,IO1/DO)and so on.In the dual I/O mode of fast reading,NOR Flash chip supports the clock frequency of 104MHz,and the equivalent data transmission rate reaches 208Mb/s,which can meet the requirements of fast camera startup and real-time parameter call.
NOR Flash chip GT25D20/10/05E has a write protection mechanism combining hardware and software,which can protect all or part of the storage area through write protection pin(WP#)or internal register setting.NOR Flash chip also supports JEDEC standard identification code and 64-bit unique ID,which is beneficial to product traceability and anti-counterfeiting.Its continuous reading mode supports 8/16/32/64 byte line feed,which is convenient for XIP(local execution)operation and further improves data reading efficiency.
